This critical interface with our community enables residents to understand the value of Municipal Storm Sewer System (MS4) operations.

Lake Appreciation Day
Cherry Creek State Park, Colorado
Lake Appreciation Day is a special day out of the year where park staff and volunteers get together and work on a clean up project around the park. These projects usually consist of a shoreline clean up of trash, debris and fishing lines and/or cutting invasive Mullein weeds that are prevalent throughout the park.
Glendale Movie Nights

Join us on the field at Infinity Park for the third movie night of 2024 as we show Trolls Band Together!
Movie-goers are encouraged to bring their own chairs, blankets, and pack their own coolers with whatever they need to enjoy the show! We just kindly ask that you leave any grills and glass containers at home. If you elect not to bring food with you, food will be available for purchase from an on-site food truck.
Dogs are also welcome to attend, but we ask that you keep your four-legged friends up on the Festival Plaza on the south side of the stadium.
All movie nights in 2024 are FREE to attend!

Arapahoe County Public Works Play Date
Arapahoe County Public Works and Development is hosting their Play Date on June 7. The event will feature activities for kids that help them understand what public works does for our community.

Be Dam Aware
Tower Loop, Cherry Creek State Park, Colorado
Learn about the roles and goals of the Cherry Creek Dam, dam safety, reducing flood risk, and boating and water safety. There will be lots of hands-on activities including interactive and kid-friendly activities, be a water quality scientist, and becoming an agent of discovery. Plus there will be free fishing poles and other giveaways. Please visit the SPLASH booth to spin the wheel and win a prize.

Aurora Youth Water Festival

Every May, Aurora Water sponsors this free, one-day festival at the Community College of Aurora. Fifth graders learn all about water through hands-on, fun activities and exhibits. Classes can participate in the Water Ambassador Program before the festival, receive training and free t-shirts. Transportation is provided.
